metro fm awards 2017

I know I am late on this one but I love to celebrate SA fashion so I have to blog about it. The Metro FM Awards took place in Durban this year and there was such a buzz on Durban that weekend. I made sure that I stayed away from all the hotspots. Anyways the black carpet looked something like this.

nhlanhla nciza

Nhlanhla Nciza was dressed by her clothing label NN Vintage.

khanyi mbau

Khanyi Mbau shared her dress drama on her show on Metro FM. Apparently she arrived to collect her dress from her designer only to find that he had not even started making it. So she dashed to the Diamond Walk in Sandton City and managed to find this beautiful, dirty pink ruffled gown. Let’s just say it might have been a blessing in disguise considering that she looked amazing.

thando thabethe

Thando Thabethe arrived in a sheer black gown by Zarth, my only problem with this dress is that I feel like I have seen her in it before. It seems like she just keeps wearing the same type of dresses, it’s time to change it up.

bonang matheba

Bonang Matheba arrived in a metallic gown by Gert Johan Coetzee. I loved the dramatic bell sleeves.

jessica nkosi

Jessica Nkosi looked stunning in a champagne Zarth gown with a bronze embellished top.

nomzamo mbatha

Nomzamo Mbatha arrived in a sheer gown by Zarth.

boity

Boity looked all kinds of sexy in this velvet gown by Zarth with a thigh high slit showing her toned legs.

pearl modiadie

Pearl Modiadie who was a co-host for the awards with Amon Mokeona arrived in this beautiful cross between lime and yellow Zarth dress. I loved the beaded detail on the top part of the dress and how it shows off her amazing body. Slay!
